Coming up for air

I just got off the phone with Tex
our first conversation in a week

it was going to be a quiet week for us anyway
it's spring break and he has his kids

we both want him to spend as much time with them as possible.

normally we would have chatted when he went to bed
but I've been lights-out early-early this week

today I had a 6 hour nap
and am about to call it a night

I've turned the corner
and
when I got on the phone he told me that I sounded terrible

which made me laugh
because I sound fucking awesome NOW

fortunately no video call - -because I look like hell

so

I am back
and am going to get back on the program

daily photos (that first one is going to be a bit rough -- )
and reports
and checking in

it's going to be slow going for a few more days
but day by day I'm getting there
