vo-dee-o-dodo

I had my first date back

and it was lovely

we went to the park and lolled around on the grass talking for a few hours until the park closed

and then went out for some hummus

when it was time to go home (4 hours after the date started) -- he walked me to my car and kissed me

and very well indeed

and pushed for a trip to my house

hoping for some VoDeODoeDoe

and was denied

I don't VoDeODoeDoe on a first date

at least not on a vanilla date

I mean

I VoDeO

we had a funny moment when we had to go get jumper cables for his car because he left his lights on

and

I had every reason to think there would be a date 2

and then

well - I didn't chase him down the street saying lovemelovemelove

and I think it hurt his feelings -- as I got a text from him that said, "I guess I was a great kisser, but not an unforgettable one"

and -- very little since then

so

more to meet -- interesting times

and hopefully

I'll get to DoeDoe soon
