I have written him a love letter
well - a smitten letter
whatever.
an actual letter
on paper
in ink
mailed to his home
I love the idea of him holding it
holding something I have held
I love the idea of him opening it
smelling my perfume
is it wrong to want to make him want me
to be as distracted as I am by him?
to be swept away
I told him the other night that if I fall I want to take him with me
and
I think he would be more than happy for me to fall down the rabbit hole with him right now
but I'm going to cling onto the edge
just a
tiny
bit
longer
It's awful when your kids are sick. I remember lying in bed and timing the coughs, to see whether my kid would get through a minute without coughing. I hope Pixie is doing better today!

@Sin - sadly no.
Deleteok - that's not true - -NOT this morning - but much better now.
and sleeping - with no coughing tonight

Oh that's really sweet....
ReplyDeleteOnce mouse mailed Daddy a card...he told her she shouldn't wasted a stamp...Mr Romance...
There's something about getting something in the mail...Dunno...think it's sweet...
Will he write back?
Hugs,
mouse
Hello Mouse,
DeleteI think mailing it was sweet - but you DO live together.
I wanted him to have it
I'm not sure it will mean the same thing to him - -and that's not the point -- it means something to me
and -- No, I doubt he will write back - he will show me he cares some other fine way
and I will smile and be happy
B
It's just horrid when our wee ones are sick--especially when they are young. Wait--I'm still the one who frets when my 9 year old gets something...we always fret--tis the price of loving them so fiercely. Sending lots of healing energies for Pixie...and hugs for you, B.
