I've been quiet lately

nothing to write about
busy

this weekend I'm at my parents which is always a strange thing -- the AC at my house was out -- and where I live -- even though it's September -- it's 104 degrees -- so -- unlivable at home.

I should have AC again in a few days
until then
I'm camped in the guest room - with the baby a few feet away.

not ideal.

I receive a message from someone on Fetlife
and while his message was ok

his profile was outstanding

and

I wrote him back

Nicholas seems to be all the things I could ever want

A nice man
a hard worker
a dad
focused

honestly

I thought he was too good and must be a Nigerian scam artist

except

he lives 10 miles away from me

and he has just enough flaws to be a real person

we chatted for ages
and talked and talked on the phone

he's younger than I am -- but not by too much - If our ages were reversed no one would raise an eyebrow

and

I think I'm going to see where it goes

let's see if Nicholas is all he seems to be
because if he is?

things will get interesting around here
