Tempest in a teacup

I got worked up last night

and before I knew it I was in tears
that tears that wouldn't stop

and while Tex wanted to know what was bothering me
what was bothering me didn't match my reaction

which made it blow out of proportion

so

we've talked
well - I wrote it out
because I wanted to be clear
and didn't want another emotional outburst
when there were really just some things I needed to say

and
I won't say it's all better

but we understand each other

and that's more important than a perfect tied in a bow solution

tonight I have a date with D
which will be good for me

because at least part of my problem is sheer loneliness for plain old human touch
