A Date

I had a date with the FWB last night -- he's a sweet guy

young
and enthusiastic
and

it's sort of sweet -- he admittedly has a crush on me

perhaps it's that I'm older
and
I'm not eager
I'm a bit more aloof

not because I don't find him attractive -- but more because I'm not chasing him down

I hadn't planned to sleep with him
but we did
and it was

well

it was at first more than a bit awkward and overly enthusiastic -- and at one point I thought I would have to remind him that there's a limited amount of time that my knee and my ear can be together.

but then we took a break
and

had this incredibly sweet, intense, vanilla sex - that might have been in the top 10 of my vanilla experiences.

maybe it's because we can talk
we can say -- "hey -- My clit is insanely sensitive -- so if you try *this* -- you'll get what you want"

and the Man and I are finding a balance
although
we may be tip toeing back into the same territory
and

I'm not going to try to overmanage things

and I'm going to enjoy my friend
and
look forward to what the weeks and months ahead hold for me.
