Yes -- it's been quiet over here.

I've been working some things out.

waiting for the man is not healthy for me
sure -- it feels all sacrificey and noble

but it's just going to make me miserable.

and

haven't I spent enough time in the past few years waiting?

So -the man is off on vacation -- with his ex -- seeing if things are going to work out
for the next two weeks

and even then
they'll still be in this "let's see" place

I need to do something healthy
