Anti-Santa

I am most definitely against Santa

I would love to talk about sex adventures -- but I haven't heard back from Tex about having some personal play time -- so instead I'll talk about why I am not crazy for Santa

and

that's not really true

I'm ok with "Santa is the spirit of Christmas"

but not with

"going to see Santa"

First off Pixie doesn't really like men
and teaching her that it's ok to sit on a strange man's lap and share secrets with him
seems like the exact opposite of what we teach our daughters

don't even get me started on the creepiness of "he sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake" and the implied threat of "be good for goodness sakes!"

Santa can bring presents
but

when we see a santa in the mall I plan to say, "oh look - there's a man dressed like Santa"

and call it a day
