A day off

I enjoyed my free day today

I got a haircut
and some shopping done (no buying -- but some shopping)
I stopped by my office
and dropped of a cute hat I made at my foster agency

and I had a long chat with Tex at the mall

I found a nice soft sofa
just me and the old men who were asleep waiting for their wives to come back

and we talked about the future

Tex tends to use "when"

when I'm so used to men using "if"

it's enough to make a girl swoon

and we talked about what it would be like

when we live together
when he takes more and more control

and he played around with some next steps

of course
he wants control over the things that are hardest to give up
and he wanted me to sit there in the mall

and squirm
and smile
and
take the time to learn more and more about each other

as I think about what will happen when....
