Money Money Money

In our mall chat yesterday (see previous post from last night), we talked about money

actually

I opened my yap a few times about things that will be particularly hard about giving up control

because the "getpermissiontospendover$50" rule isn't that tough for me -- because I rarely spend that much without taking the time to consider it

it's

the little things I spend
all the time
that add up

that

I don't really need

eventually he will put me on a budget
which will ultimately save me a lot of money
but makes me uncomfortable as well.

and

we're not at the B gets an allowance stage

it's early days
we have far to go

we're still at the "watchBsquirmatthethoughtofit" stage
which is so much Domly fun.

but I did say that I'm concerned about overdoing it for Christmas
it's the Pixie's first Christmas with me

and

it's the first Christmas that a child has been in my house

and I'm worried that I will overdo it all
overcompensate

particularly as the stress of the upcoming court date looms

so we agreed that I would write a budget and he would approve it

I wrote it last night
shaving a bit off of the original numbers because I thought he would think it was excessive
and sent it

He approved it without edit
and

I will have to report when I spend for each person on my list
and hold to my budget.

all good things

meant for my betterment
but

I suspect at some point I'll regret my deal
but
for now
I am happy
and content with the challenge.
