Messing Up

I hate to mess up
although

it's inevitable
and we subs are bad at accepting that

for example

blog every day

how hard is that?
a DAY is a LONG time
surely anyone could blog once a day

I mean

unless you're in the ICU
or abducted by aliens

how hard could it be?

and yet

inevitably

if there's an always
or a never

(much more often with always - because never is just easier)

there's going to be a slip

and

dear readers

you'll note

no blog post yesterday

I haven't been blogging at a set time
and I couldn't remember if I had or not
and

looks like the 'nots" had it

(damn it)

in the meantime
there's this thing I need to ask him
and I've been putting it off

and no

I'm not going to talk about what thing
because typing it here is cheating

but

I have to

it's time

and I will
